Walking Toward the Light

🦋 Walking Toward the Light

For a long time, she kept a dress in her imagination—a dress she would wear when life finally felt beautiful again.

But one morning, tired and uncertain, she stepped outside just as she was.

A butterfly landed on her shoulder. Another rested near her heart. With each small step, more gathered, until their living wings formed a dress that moved gently around her.

She paused. Some butterflies flew away; others stayed. She couldn’t hold every beautiful thing forever, but she could feel the beauty of what was with her now.

Ahead, sunlight touched the path.

She still carried unanswered questions. She still needed rest. Yet she took another step, letting the wings flutter and the morning reach her.

Perhaps becoming begins this quietly—with one small movement toward something that makes us feel alive.

What would one gentle step toward the light look like for you today? 💛
